Welcome and thank you for visiting Festival Hall Centre for the Arts in Pembroke, the largest in the Upper Ottawa Valley. The theatre supports seating of 625 and has an art gallery in the lobby.
A renewed spirit has infused the theatre in the last two years with a record number of audiences and great shows. We invite you to share our passion for music, theatre, dance, comedy and festivals.
My vision is to create a sense of "wonder" and that feeling you had when you were young and went to see a live event - that being in the audience was just as important as the performance on stage. As Noel Coward said, “The theatre should be treated with respect. The theatre is a wonderful place, a house of strange enchantment, a temple of illusion.”
That sense of wonder propelled me into becoming an actor, comedian, writer, producer, radio show host...and now very happy to be Director of Festival Hall Centre for the Arts. Read my bio.
What an exciting time it has been at Festival Hall the last 18 months, with over 51 productions and a record 16, 544 people through the doors.
